It also got rid of notes in your inventory that you no longer needed, which was interesting since some notes (and hotspots) served multiple purposes, so it was fun saying "well, guess I'm apparently not done here, no idea why yet" and have that actually be accurate. I have to say though, one thing I really liked is that the game disabled clickable hotspots after they weren't needed anymore - a very rare mechanic in these games which I actually can't recall if I've ever seen it, though I wanna say I have. 1bit adventure game of cosmic horror inspired by the work of Junji Ito.
